A Winter Weather Advisory in effect tonight across Metro Detroit as snow, sleet and freezing rain move across the area. The heaviest icing will be from 2 AM to 5 AM.
Tonight: A wintry mix with snow, sleet and freezing rain with temps in the mid 20s. Winds: E 10-15 mph.
Thursday: After a slick and icy start temps will gradually warm up. We will rise above freezing by 11AM around and south of Detroit and around noon in the northern burbs. The high will end up in the mid to upper 30s. Winds: S to W and increasing to 15-30 mph late.
Friday: Partly sunny with a high near 30°. Winds: W 5-15 mph.
