Metro Detroit Weather: Overnight severe threat is doubtful

Some showers are possible toward Wednesday morning. The severe storm threat is diminishing for tonight and Wednesday. Highs will be around 80° or higher for the next few days.

Stable and cooler air returns Thursday, with mostly sunny skies expected and highs in the upper 70s.

Showers and storms could return Friday evening, with more chances for showers and storms during the holiday weekend.

Tonight: A decaying line of storms will be approaching from the west. Showers are possible by morning, but the severe threat should fall apart. Lows will be near 70. Winds: S 5-10 mph.
Wednesday: Partly sunny. Showers are possible early and then again in the afternoon. Most storm chances in the afternoon should be to our east. Highs in the mid 80s. Winds: SW 15-25 mph.
Thursday: Mostly sunny with a high around 80°.
