and last updated

Temps are falling. It will end up being a chilly night for all of us. The sun should be out Thursday and temps will respond with highs in the upper 30s and low 40s.

A storm system will move in Thursday night from the south. It will begin as rain and then try to switch to snow. That change over will happen first Friday morning north of M59. The change over to snow will happen last around Detroit and south. The heaviest moisture in this storm will be around the warmest temps, so there won't be much accumulation of snow.

Right now the weekend looks mostly dry and temps will warm from near 30° Saturday to near 40° Sunday.

Tonight: Partly cloudy skies with colder temps falling into the low 20s. Winds: SW 5-10 mph.

Thursday: Mostly sunny with highs near 43°. Winds: SSW 10-20 mph.

Friday: Rain to start the day. It will try try to change to snow, first north of M59 in the morning and last around Detroit in the afternoon. Very little snow accumulation is expected. Highs will be in the mid 30s. Winds: E to N at 5-15 mph.
