Warmer temperatures are expected this week. High temperatures will be in the upper 30s to low 40s through Friday, and overnight lows will be near 30° or a little warmer. Both high and low temperatures will be slightly warmer than average for southeast Michigan. There are a few chances for rain, with some snow mixing in at times.
A few rain showers may move in after midnight and wrap up Tuesday morning. Amounts would not be much if we do get them.
We'll see some breaks in the clouds in the afternoon tomorrow and highs in the low to mid 40s.
Another system moves in Wednesday bringing widespread rain and the chance for some snow to mix in. The best chance for snow will be north of I-69, but we could see snow showers down to the state line if showers arrive around daybreak, when temperatures will be just below the freezing mark across Metro Detroit.
TONIGHT: Rain chances increase. Lows in the mid 30s. Winds: WSW 5-10 mph.
TUESDAY: A slight rain chance in the morning and then a little sun with highs in the low to mid 40s. Winds: W 5-10 mph.
WEDNESDAY: A very slight chance for freezing rain in the early morning hours. After that, the rain chances will increase. Highs in the low 40s. Winds: S 5-10 mph.
