Metro Detroit Weather: Snow showers increase tonight & Tuesday morning

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with snow showers possible in a few areas. Lows in the mid teens. Winds: W 10-20 mph. Wind chills either side of zero.

Tuesday: The coldest day of the week with highs barely reaching 20°. Winds: WNW 15-25 mph. Wind chills will be in the single digits.

Wednesday: Partly to mostly cloudy with highs in the low to mid 20s. Winds: W 5-15 mph.

Snow showers increase through Tuesday morning. The morning drive could have some areas with snow covered roads.

Arctic air continues to spill in dropping temperatures into the low teens and upper single digits Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, with highs peaking near 20° by the afternoon. Winds will be gusty both days, bringing wind chills below zero in spots both mornings.

Temperatures will warm back near freezing by the end of the week, with another chance for snow Thursday.
