Metro Detroit Weather: Light snow showers and breezy weather

A Wind Advisory is in effect for all of southeast Michigan until 8 p.m. Monday. Winds will be out of the west-southwest 20-30 mph, with gusts near 45 mph.

Snow showers return Monday night as a clipper system swings through the area. Accumulation will be up to 1/2". Another system quickly follows late Tuesday into Wednesday and brings another 1/2"-1" of snow, with 2" possible north of I-69. High temperatures will be in the low to mid 30s both days.

We'll get back to dry weather Thursday with highs pushing 40°!

Another storm system moves in from the south Friday, bringing rain, freezing rain, sleet, and snow across Metro Detroit. Impacts to the Friday commutes are probable. High temperatures peak in the mid to upper 30s.

The weekend will be split with dry and chilly weather Saturday, followed by light wintry mix and warmer temperatures Sunday.

Tonight: Light snow showers. Accumulation <1/2". Lows in the low 20s. Winds: NW 10-20 mph.

Tuesday: Partly sunny to mostly cloudy. Snow showers late, especially north of I-96. Highs in the low to mid 30s. Winds: SW 5-15 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with some light snow showers. Highs in the mid 30s. Winds: NW 15-25 mph.
