We're keeping an eye on a storm system for Friday that will likely bring us a messy mix across Metro Detroit. As of right now, we'll likely start with rain Friday morning, with temperatures in the mid to upper 30s. Temperatures will fall throughout the day to below freezing, leading to a change over to some sleet and eventually snow by late in the day. The timing of the rain-to-snow transition is still uncertain, but be prepared for some slippery conditions with the messy mix Friday.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with spotty snow showers. A dusting is possible in a few spots. Overnight temps hold in the low to mid 30s. Winds: WSW 15-25 mph.
