Here are some favorite holiday movies that you can watch anytime, courtesy of your Netflix account.
1. “Scrooged” (1988)
Bill Murray is a curmudgeonly network TV exec in this somewhat updated version of the Charles Dickens epic “A Christmas Carol.” Let’s just say he gets more than a lump of coal by the end of the film.
2. “A Very Murray Christmas” (2015)
Bill makes a second appearance on this list in this Netflix original, joined by the always dapper George Clooney and Miley Cyrus.
3. “White Christmas” (1954)
You’ll be dreaming of you know what in no time, even if you live in, say, Phoenix.
4. “Kung Fu Panda: Holiday” (2010)
Sure, reindeer are the default animal for the season, but pandas have a place, too.
5. “Winnie The Pooh: A Very Merry Pooh Year” (2002)
Oh, bother. Have fun with Winnie and the entire gang. Well, maybe Eeyore won’t have any fun, but you knew that.
6. “Santa Claws” (2014)
Tommy wants a kitty. Santa is allergic to kitties. You can see the dilemma already.
7. “The Search For Santa Paws” (2010)
You think we can have a Santa Claws on this list without the corresponding dog movie?
8. “The Cat In The Hat At Christmas” (2014)
While The Grinch is Dr. Seuss’s top Christmas character, The Cat In The Hat can jingle bells with the best of ’em.
9. “Curious George: A Very Monkey Christmas” (2009)
George is curious about Christmas, no doubt, and The Man With The Yellow Hat suffers along until a warm, fuzzy ending is enjoyed by all.
10. “Casper’s Haunted Christmas” (2000)
Casper’s finished with Halloween for this year, so why not move over to Christmas, too?
