As Haiti digs out from a massive earthquake that has already claimed the lives of at least 1,300 people, the island is now facing heavy rain from Tropical Depression Grace.

The National Weather Service says the rainfall could lead to flooding and mudslides in Haiti and the Dominican Republic.

According to the Miami Herald, some areas in Haiti and the Dominican Republic could see up to 15 inches of rain through Tuesday.

According to the National Hurricane Center, Grace will eventually bring "heavy rainfall" to Cuba, Jamaica and the Cayman Islands.

It's expected to move over warm waters and could reach tropical storm strength again later this week, the Miami Herald reports.

Following Grace, the threats aren't over. The National Weather Service announced Monday that Tropical Storm Henri formed 145 miles southeast of Bermuda.
