Woman sentenced in drunk driving crash that killed FedEx driver in Detroit

A Grosse Pointe Woods woman was sentenced to serve 27 to 50 years in prison following a drunk driving crash that killed a FedEx driver back in February.

Myah Marea Batts, 26, was found guilty of second degree murder, operating while intoxicated causing death, driving with a suspended license causing death and reckless driving causing death. 

The truck driver, 46-year-old Rodrick Edwin Motley, was described as a loving husband, caring son and devoted father. He was also a veteran employee of 23 years with FedEx before his death.
