(WXYZ) — 7 News Detroit and Scripps News are taking a look at the biggest issues facing our nation on the path to the White House.

Each week leading up to the Republican National Convention — we have been diving into the hot button topics shaping the 2024 presidential election with voter panels and in-depth reports from voters around the country.

Scripps News and Scripps Local Stations have embarked on an unprecedented partnership for the company: "The Path to the White House."

This 10-week enterprise-wide initiative is covering the defining issues of the 2024 election in a way that only Scripps can because the path to the White House runs through Scripps country.

Coming up on Tuesday, June 25, catch WXYZ-TV’s town hall on electric vehicles and the road to the future streaming on Scripps News at 7:30 p.m.WXYZ anchor Mike Duffy will host The Path to the White House program.

The future of electric vehicles is shaping up to be a hot button topic on the campaign trail. Duffy brings the community together to get their thoughts and perspectives on the direction they think our nation is heading when it comes to the move away from gas-powered vehicles.
