PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) — Northbound I-275 back open near Ann Arbor Road in Plymouth Township after a deadly crash on Friday.
The crash happened around 3:10 p.m., Michigan State Police said.

Officials say a semitruck and a cement truck collided, popping the concrete mixer off the truck. Cement spilled onto the freeway. Another truck was also damaged.
Police say a 59-year-old man from Lincoln Park was driving a cement truck. He could not stop in time and struck the rear of a box truck. That force then pushed the box truck into the semi.
The 59-year-old driver was removed from the truck and taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
The crash spilled concrete, tar and diesel across the freeway, but it reopened around 5 a.m. Saturday.

Authorities asked drivers to avoid the area and use another route as they anticipated “serious delays.”
The Plymouth Township Fire Department was also at the scene with MSP.
Additional details about the crash have not yet been released. MSP said Friday night that they're continuing to investigate.
