It's time to lace up the shoes and grab a leash to help raise money for the Michigan Humane Society at the annual Mega March for Animals.
The Mega March is taking place the weekend of October 6th and 7th, with two separate walks. The first will be held October 6 at Kensington Metropark in Milford. It will be followed on October 7 with a walk along the Detroit RiverWalk at a new location at the Cullen Plaza.
The event is being presented by Sellers Subaru and there are no fees to register.
Participants can start a team, join a family or friends team or march on their own. All are welcome, as are their pets!
You can even meet some 7 Action News personalities at both events. Morning Anchor Alicia Smith will once again be leading the WXYZ-TV Mega March team as walk at Kensington Metropark.
