Parents in the Lake Orion Community School District are fuming about a bus driver they say should be fired.

Parents tell 7 Action News the driver has tormented their elementary school students since the beginning of the school year.

Parents said bus number 28, which take students home from Paint Creek Elementary School, is the bus in question.

About half a dozen parents met with 7 Action News to share their complaints.

"Multiple complaints of aggression from the bus driver, fingers in the faces, vulgar words, aggressive stops that make children fall out their seats,” said Roseanna Shepherd has a 9 and a 10 year-old at Paint Creek Elementary.

"She's saying that she's going to drop us off in the middle of the road,” said 7 year-old Ty Alston, who said she is scared of the driver.

Parents said they’ve made calls and sent emails, but it wasn’t until Shepherd tried to talk to bus driver in person, and she said the bus driver told her to shut up and shut the door on her.

"She continued to be very aggressive and very vulgar, saying we have horrible children and it's our children's faults,” said Shepherd.

Shepherd said the police arrived due to the incident, but no one was ticketed.

After that, parents said the district moved the driver to a different route.

"From what I'm hearing is that she was just transferred to different route, so she is still going to be with the children, she is still at our children's school, but she is not on our bus route anymore,” said Shepherd.

Shepherd said that’s not enough.

"She should not have this job, she should be fired,” said Shepherd.

The Lake Orion Community School District did not respond to our request for comment after school hours on Tuesday.
