The charges against the man accused of killing Wayne State University Police Officer Collin Rose will be dropped, 7 Action News has learned.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Detroit Field Division is offering a $15,000 reward with the help of Detroit Dog Rescue for any information leading to an arrest in this case.
Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy has called a news conference for later this morning regarding the case.

Deangelo Davis was originally charged in the case. Sources tell 7 Action News surveillance video shows Davis was in a store at the time of the murder.
7 Action News spoke with his mother, Valerie, Tuesday night. She told us the person who killed Rose needs to be in jail.
"I'm 100% confident my son had nothing to do with it, cause he's not that type of young man," Davis said.
She also said she loves her son, and wants him to come home.
Detroit Police Union President Mark Diaz responded to the report.
"We have a cop killer who's on the lose and that's scary. And you know our officers work in conjunction with other law enforcement entities are doing everything possible to find that suspect to get him off the street," Diaz said.
