When two Lions fans sitting during the national anthem didn't sit well with a local businessman, he took to social media using racial slurs.
Now, that man is no longer a Lions season ticket holder.
David Doptis, a Pontiac business owner, was angry when Stacey Graham and another man sat down during the national anthem.
Graham said she sits during the national anthem to protest the third verse that pertains to slaves.
Doptis' social media post did not sit well with the Lions organization.
"We do have a fan behavior code of standards and I think, without question, our organization followed up and found out who the individual was and obviously he no longer has season tickets," said Lions Head Coach Jim Caldwell.
Doptis is the owner of a business in Pontiac called Restaurant Liquidation Auctions, which has been getting backlash from the social media posts.
Graham said she was "stunned" to see something written like that under her photo.
She thinks it was handled appropriately.
Doptis did not respond to a request for comment.
