Detroit police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man police say was a local rapper.
The man was shot to death in a white Hyundai SUV in the area of Livernois and I-96 Monday evening.
His name has not been released, but police sources say he is a Detroit rapper in his 20s.
Many Detroit police officers converged on the scene after the shooting. However, they were released after the Medical Examiner took the body from the scene.
The white SUV the victim was discovered and was also taken from the scene.
Police have not commented on any arrests, or publically identified a suspect.
