Police: Woman calls 911, admits to shooting man in Nashville home

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Police say a woman has been arrested after she allegedly admitted to shooting a man in Nashville.

The call went out shortly before 10 p.m. Tuesday at a residence on Fairwin Avenue.

According to an affidavit from Metro Nashville police, Kristina Arnold called 911 and said she shot a man in his home.

Police got to the scene and found that the victim had been shot in the head. The victim, Jamar Pillow, was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with critical injuries.

Arnold was charged with attempted criminal homicide.
