HARTSHORNE, Okla. -- Hartshorne, Oklahoma police are warning residents after they found bags containing ecstasy shaped like candy on Sunday.

An officer with the Hartshorne Police Department received a call Sunday night about two small bags containing what appeared to be pills at the corner of 12th and Cherokee.

The responding officer found the pills, which he said looked like candy. One of the pills was heart-shaped, one was shaped like Bart Simpson's head, one looked like a Flinstones vitamin and another looked like a grenade.

Hartshorne police said for residents to be wary because the drugs look like candy and are appealing to children.

Anyone who sees suspicious items on the ground is asked to contact police.
