Heroin, marijuana found abandoned in Milwaukee airport bathroom

Posted

MILWAUKEE-- The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office is investigating after drugs were found abandoned in an airport bathroom Thursday.

Deputies responded to the north end of the ticketing area at Mitchell International Airport Thursday night after the cleaning staff discovered "two knotted baggies" in a restroom.

One baggie contained a green leafy substance and the other contained a white powder with a slight brown tint. The substances tested positive for marijuana and heroin, authorities said.

Deputies have not made any arrests.
