Food Network star and UNLV graduate Guy Fieri is helping out the victims of the California wildfires by preparing them quality meals.

Fieri, who's from Northern California feels a personal attachment to the area and is trying to give back in any way that he can.

"You know, those firefighters have been eating out of their you know, their big lunch sacks, these big packaged meals, which are awesome but nothing beats a hot meal," Fieri said.

Fieri said he was evacuated from his home near Santa Rosa on Monday. When the fire began to expand, Fieri said he and his wife packed up and left.

Fieri owns several restaurants across the country, including Guy Fieri's Kitchen and Bar at the LINQ in Las Vegas.
