OPELIKA, Ala. – There seems to be a case of baby fever going around at one Alabama fire department.

From August to November, seven firefighters at the Opelika Fire Department became fathers to seven newborn babies.

“The City of Opelika and its Fire Department are excited to announce we have welcomed seven new members into the Opelika family!” wrote the City in a Facebook post.

The City says the firefighters welcomed four handsome boys and three sweet girls.

“We are excited to support our firefighters in this new season of their lives,” wrote the City.

Along with photos, the City shared a video of the proud new fathers – Chase McConnell, Peter Martin, Blake Smith, Kevin Swatts, Bradley Bowen, John Manley, and Rob Lee – holding their bundles of joy.
