A man and woman have been arrested after a 2-year-old girl tested positive for cocaine in Nashville.

Metro Nashville Police said 26-year-old Sebastain Daugherty and 24-year-old Tamara Pack were taken into custody after DCS officials responded to a home on Thursday.

Police said DCS was called to the residence after they received a photo of a small child with a pipe in her mouth. They gave her a drug test and she tested positive for cocaine and benzodiazepines.

According to an affidavit, Daugherty began screaming and cursing at officials and was told he could not go near the victim nor his other daughter, said to be 5 years old, without police present.

At that time, Daugherty left the home and allegedly went to the elder daughter’s school, where another family member was going to pick her up.

Police said Daugherty met them and put the child in his car and drove her back to the location.

Daugherty was later arrested and charged with neglect of a child 8 or less, disorderly conduct and driving on a revoked license. Pack was also booked on a charge of child neglect.
