METRO DETROIT (WXYZ) — Dozens of schools in metro Detroit are closed today, with temperatures projected to be lower than 0 degrees in some areas. There are also some schools that have decided to close for Wednesday.

As of 8 a.m. on Tuesday, more than 500 schools are closed for today, including Detroit Public Schools Community District, Oak Park Schools, Monroe Public Schools, Bloomfield Hills School District, and more. There are also districts that have decided to close for Wednesday.
