Detroit police are investigating after a boyfriend shot his girlfriend following an argument at an apartment on the city's east side.
The woman was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition. Police are not saying whether or not the boyfriend is in custody.
We're told it happened early Thursday morning in the Anthos Gardens Apartments on Outer Dr.
The girlfriend hit the boyfriend in the face with keys and she was also armed with a knife. The boyfriend ended up shooting her.
