Looking for something fun for your kids to do this summer without breaking the bank? We found several places offering classes for children. The classes range from DIY classes to crafts to computers.

Home Depot
Some Home Depot stores offer Kids Workshop classes for free. All attendees must be accompanied by a parent or adult at all times. The kids get to keep their craft, receive a free certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last. Children must be present at the store to participate in the workshop and receive the kit, apron and pin. Check the class schedule at your local Home Depot. Past classes have included bird houses, trucks and tabletop golf sets.

Lowe's
Lowe's offers Build and Grow Workshops for kids. Classes run 15 to 30 minutes. In addition to the wooden project kit, kids also receive a free apron, goggles, and a project-themed patch.

Michael's
Michael's offers kids classes on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon. There are two 30-minute classes for kids ages 3 and up.

Apple
Apple stores offer a variety of free classes for kids ages 8 to 12. It's called Apple Camp and kids can choose to explore music, coding, movie-making, or art & design. All campers must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of Apple Camp. Learn more here. Classes may already be full, so check with your local store and possibly mark your calendar for next year.

Cabela's
Cabela's offers free family activities from June 23-July 22 on every Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at noon. Learn more here.
