It's one of the biggest sales days of the year for some online retailers as people make purchases in the final days before Christmas, attempting to ensure things are shipped ahead of time.
Ebay labeled it "Green Monday" several years ago after seeing a big jump in sales following a healthy Black Friday. Many online retailers are offering deals today under the Green Monday label.
