TRINITY, Fla. — When a mom took to her community Facebook page to say no one showed up for her 3-year-old daughter's birthday party on Sunday, the community didn't disappoint.

"No one showed up to my 3-year-olds birthday party today. If anyone wants to bring their kids, there is a bounce house. John Chestnut Park. Will be here until 3," Cindy Davis wrote in "Trinity Chat."

The comments started flooding in and soon after, so did people with balloons, cards and gifts in hand.

“Children deserve all the happiness and joy that they can have on their birthday," said Krista Hyde, the mother who showed up to the party.

Deputies with the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office even showed up to celebrate Paisley.

"I just couldn’t bear to see her bouncing in a bounce house by herself," Davis sai.

So she posted online, but the response was nothing she expected.

"I really did not expect this at all," she said. "I just thought you know okay someone’s here, let’s welcome them, offer them some food and cake and have a good time and then it didn’t stop. And it still hasn’t stopped."

Davis says the outpouring of community support and love is overwhelming. She plans on giving back to the community that showed up for her by donating some of the many gifts her daughter received.
